Established in 1984, Universal Language and Computer Institute (ULCI) provides Study Abroad Counseling Services, English & Chinese Languages Courses, Computer Trainings and Test Preparation Classes to national and international students. In order to meet the international standards ULCI is working closely with various international organizations: American International Recruitment Council for students to study in the US, Cambridge ELT for English Language learning resources, University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations for English Language Tests, IMS for IELTS, TOEFL®, SAT®, GRE® and GMAT® preparations, and Hanban China for Chinese Language HSK & YCT Tests.

ULCI is located in Kathmandu. There are different blocks for different departments: Counseling Block, Language Block, Test Preparation Block, Information Technology Block, Resource Center Block and Administration Block. All the academic blocks have self-access labs, multimedia digital labs and libraries. All the rooms are air-conditioned.
